Dr. Hofelich’s Philosophy
Dr. Hofelich offers a true “East meets West” approach that brings into focus the physical, mental, and environmental influences on the body’s physiological and energetic systems. She focuses on the root causes of disease in Chinese Medicine including emotions, trauma, circadian rhythm, metabolism, diet, and environment while taking into account Western Medicine’s genetics, mold/chemical exposure, nutrition, hormone balance, and gut health.
What Makes Dr. Hofelich Different
In addition to a California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist, Dr. Hofelich holds a Doctorate of Acupuncture and East Asian Medicine, a Master’s of Science in Traditional East Asian Medicine, a diploma in Traditional East Asian Dermatology, and is also a Certified Massage Therapist.
Dr. Hofelich’s education included 4,000 hours of “hands on” clinical experience at Pacific college treatment centers In San Diego, The UCSD Cancer Center, Veteran’s Clinic, Acupuncturists Without Border’s San Diego Fire Relief, Rady’s Summer Medical Academy, The Global Clinic in the Dominican Republic, and mentorships at San Diego Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture and San Diego Cosmetic Acupuncture.
